Hotel
The Holiday Inn Select, 4728 Constitution Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA (see it in Google Maps) is where all of our events take place. Rooms are available for $81.00 per night provided you make reservations prior to May 6, 2008. To reserve your room call 225-925-2244 and advise the reservation agent that you are participating in the Ballroom Competition. Reservations may also be made through the Holiday Inn Select Executive Center's website www.hiselect.com/execcenterbtr. The code for online reservations is: K18.
Transportation
Northwest, U S Air, Delta, Frontier Airlines and Continental Airlines fly into Ryan Metropolitan Airport (BTR) located in Baton Rouge. The Holiday Inn Select provides complimentary transportation to and from Ryan Metro Airport upon request. Contact the hotel's Transportation Coordinator at 225-930-0105. All major airlines fly into the Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) which is located in New Orleans and is 70 miles south of Baton Rouge on Interstate 10.
Site Information
The competition site is located on Interstate 10 at the College Drive exit in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Holiday Inn Select Executive Center is a lovely hotel with many amenities, including a beautiful 15,000 square foot ballroom and a 3,000 square foot gym with state of the art equipment. Dancing will take place on a 44 X 76 foot continuous hardwood floor. A 16 X 56 foot practice floor of the same quality will also be provided. Spacious dressing room facilities will be available for competitors. The hotel provides ample free parking. Within minutes from the hotel are a number of excellent eating establishments, shopping areas and more.
