

Hotel Accommodations
The Crowne Plaza Hotel, 4728 Constitution Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70808, is where all of the events take place. Rooms are available for $91.00 per night provided you make reservations prior to May 28, 2012. To reserve your room call (225) 925-2244 or (800) 678-4065 and tell the reservations agent that you are participating in the Gumbo of Ballroom competition. Reservations may also be made through the Crowne Plaza website at
www.crowneplaza.com/execcenterbtr. The code for online reservations is USA. The hotel is located very near the College Drive exit on Interstate 10. In an effort to better service breakfasts and lunches and to alleviate restaurant roadblocks
during Saturday and Sunday, the hotel will have continental breakfast and deli lunch buffets in a banquet room across from the ballroom. This will be a cash only service and is available to anyone. The restaurant will continue to provide full service to those who prefer to dine there. More information about this service will be available on the website closer to the date of the competition.
American, US Air, Delta and Continental Airlines fly into Ryan Metropolitan Airport (BTR) located minutes from the hotel in Baton Rouge. The hotel provides transportation to and from Ryan Metro Airport upon request for a nominal fee. Contact the hotel’s transportation coordinator at (225) 930-0105.
All major airlines fly into Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) which is located in New Orleans, approximately 70 miles south of Baton Rouge on Interstate 10. It is an easy drive from the airport in New Orleans to the hotel.
